DART Field Surveillance Unit (FSU)
The Field Surveillance Unit conducts on-site visual monitoring and documentation of vehicles, locations, and properties. FSU personnel observe and record activity, gather photographic evidence, and support other DART divisions by providing accurate field intelligence.
DART conducts legal, non-intrusive, and observation-only surveillance. No enforcement actions are taken.
How FSU Works
Submission Received
A report or request comes in through the website or hotline.
Case Review
DART HQ evaluates the location, type of surveillance needed, and urgency.
FSU Deployment
A field surveillance contact is sent to the location to observe conditions and collect data.
Documentation Compiled
Images, notes, timestamps, and observations are logged into a formal DART report.
Follow-Up Action
FSU provides findings to the appropriate DART division or the requesting property owner/partner
